We Are the Clean 99% Petition
To be delivered to: The United States House of Representatives and The United States Senate
Provide continuous reliable support for clean renewable energy, stop subsidizing dirty energy, and make the rich pay their fair share to help finance a clean energy transition. We pledge our votes to candidates who support these goals.
Congress has failed to: 1. provide continuous reliable support for clean energy, 2. stop unneeded subsidies for dirty energy, and 3. provide sufficient revenues for supporting a clean economy by letting the rich pay their fair share. We’re calling on Congress to accomplish these goals in 2012, and we pledge our vote for those candidates who pledge to support these goals.

Besides creating many more jobs and a cleaner, safer world, most scientists believe switching from fossil fuels to clean renewable energy is the primary way to prevent further destructive climate change from global warming… If you’re feeling the heat, turn the heat up on Congress!
